Surveillance of Occupational Diseases in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region: Results for the First Half of 2021
The Occupational Diseases Surveillance Program (MCP) relies on the voluntary participation of occupational physicians and collaborating physicians in the region, who, with the support of nurses, report all cases of occupational diseases encountered during their consultations with employees twice a year over two consecutive weeks (known as "MCP Fortnights"). In Nouvelle-Aquitaine, this program is jointly conducted by Santé publique France, the DREETS occupational health inspection unit, and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Health Observatory (ORS). In 2021, only one fortnight was carried out due to the health situation.
