• In Occitanie, from May 1 to June 24, 2025, 48 imported cases of dengue and 70 imported cases of chikungunya were identified. A first locally acquired case of chikungunya had been identified in the Hérault department. A second locally acquired case of chikungunya in Occitanie was recently identified in the Gard department.

• To limit the risk of local transmission, 132 entomological surveys and 74 vector control treatments were carried out in the vicinity of the cases.
