COVID-19
Oscour® Network: visits for suspected COVID-19 remained at a low level and increased slightly in week 11 of 2023 (86 emergency room visits, or 30 per 10,000 consultations). At the regional level and across all age groups, the weekly number of new hospitalizations was relatively stable (93 in week 11-2023 versus 103 the previous week), while the number of new admissions to critical care units was increasing (17 versus 8).
SOS Médecins Network: procedures for suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases were on the rise compared to the previous week, particularly among those aged 15–44 (42 procedures, 115 procedures per 10,000 consultations)
Influenza
In week 11-2023, after 14 weeks of epidemic activity, indicators continued to decline, placing the region in the post-epidemic phase.
Oscour® Network: Consultations for all ages regarding a diagnosis of influenza or influenza-like illness were decreasing compared to the previous week across all age groups and in all departments, except for Aude (slight increase).
SOS Médecins Network: procedures for the diagnosis of influenza/influenza-like illness across all age groups were decreasing compared to the previous week.
Gastroenteritis and Acute Diarrhea
Oscour® Network: Gastroenteritis activity was low in week 11 of 2023. Consultations for all ages regarding a diagnosis of gastroenteritis were generally stable compared to the previous week.
SOS Médecins Network: Gastroenteritis activity was low in week 11 of 2023. Procedures for the diagnosis of gastroenteritis across all age groups were stable compared to the previous week.
