Key points

Bronchiolitis

  • SOS Médecins: Procedures for the diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age were on the rise compared to the previous week.

  • Oscour® Network: visits and hospitalizations for bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age were slightly lower than the previous week, though they remained at a high level.

COVID-19

  • SOS Médecins: Procedures for suspected or confirmed COVID-19 were up compared to the previous week (318 procedures, 637 procedures per 10,000 consultations; 268 procedures the previous week).

  • Oscour® Network: visits for suspected COVID-19 remained stable compared to the previous week (521 emergency room visits, or 170 per 10,000 consultations; 522 visits the previous week). Of these visits, 41% resulted in hospitalization.

Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea

  • SOS Médecins: Gastroenteritis activity was moderate in week 50. Procedures for a diagnosis of gastroenteritis were on the rise compared to the previous week, particularly among children.

  • Oscour® Network: Gastroenteritis activity was moderate in week 50. The number of cases diagnosed with gastroenteritis remained stable compared to the previous week, but the trend over the preceding weeks had been upward.

Influenza and influenza-like illness

  • Epidemic phase since week 50.

  • Syndromic indicators are rising in both community practice and hospitals, and the proportion of influenza viruses in virological activity at university hospitals is also increasing.
