Bronchiolitis

  • SOS Médecins: The number of procedures for the diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age increased compared to the previous week. In week 46-2023, 34 procedures for the diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age were recorded, representing 9.6% of the overall activity of SOS Médecins associations in this age group (29 procedures in week 45-2023).

  • Oscour® Network: Consultations and hospitalizations for the diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age were on the rise compared to the previous week.

COVID-19

  • SOS Médecins: The number of cases involving suspected or confirmed COVID-19 was relatively stable, following an increase observed the previous week (160 cases, or 345 cases per 10,000 consultations, compared to 151 cases the previous week).

  • Oscour® Network: visits for suspected COVID-19 were relatively stable compared to the previous week (250 emergency room visits, or 83 per 10,000 consultations, compared to 81 per 10,000 consultations the previous week). Of these visits, 46% resulted in hospitalization.

Gastroenteritis and Acute Diarrhea

  • Sentinelles Network: The incidence rate of acute diarrhea cases seen in general practice for week 46-2023 was 55 per 100,000 inhabitants [25; 85], stable compared to the previous week (51 per 100,000 inhabitants).

  • SOS Médecins Network: Gastroenteritis activity was low in week 46-2023.

  • Oscour® Network: Gastroenteritis activity was moderate in week 46 of 2023
