  • Summer SurveillanceThe indicators monitored as part of the heat wave and health alert system are at their baseline levels.

  • Vector-borne disease surveillanceSince the start of enhanced surveillance for chikungunya and dengue cases in the Gard and Hérault departments, 38 reports of suspected cases have been received. Of these, only one case of dengue acquired during travel abroad has been biologically confirmed. No cases of local transmission of dengue or chikungunya have been reported.
