Final Report on the Toulouse Metropolitan Area Workers' Cohort: The explosion at the AZF factory had significant consequences, and workers in the Toulouse metropolitan area were particularly affected (31 deaths, including 21 workers; 1,300 businesses partially or completely destroyed). A cohort of workers (the "AZF" health cohort) was established in May 2003. The objective is to assess the medium-term consequences of the industrial disaster on mental and hearing health. The results of this study highlight the links between exposure to the disaster and workers’ mental health. They underscore the need to pay attention to socio-occupational risk factors in addition to factors reflecting direct exposure

Surveillance of Occupational DiseasesThe brochure Surveillance of Occupational Diseases presents the main results of the biweekly surveys on occupational diseases (OCDs) conducted in 2014 and a review of the first 10 years of operation in the Midi-Pyrénées region.The objectives of this program are to estimate the prevalence of occupational diseases among the working population of the Midi-Pyrénées region, to describe the occupational exposure agents associated with these conditions, and to contribute to the assessment of underreporting of occupational diseases
