Surveillance of Occupational Diseases in the Occitanie Region: 2018 Results

The objectives of the occupational disease surveillance program (MCP) are to estimate the prevalence rates of occupational diseases, describe the occupational exposure agents associated with these conditions, and contribute to the assessment of underreporting of occupational diseases. In 2018, 80 physicians in the Occitanie region participated in at least one of the two two-week periods, representing 16% of the region’s occupational physicians. A total of 8,585 employees were seen during these two-week periods.
