Epidemiological Situation

Despite a slight increase since late December, dengue virus circulation remains relatively low and appears to be limited to a very small geographic area (the Vincendo neighborhood in the municipality of Saint-Joseph). Nevertheless, current conditions are particularly favorable for the vector, and viral circulation may spread to other parts of the island in the coming weeks.The epidemiological situation corresponds to Alert Level 2A of the arbovirus control plan (“Identification of moderate indigenous viral circulation”).
