Epidemiological Situation

Three municipalities are affected by localized transmission of the virus: - The emergence of recent new cases in Saint-Paul (Crève-coeur) confirms that transmission is continuing locally. - Another active outbreak (currently being characterized) has been identified in Saint-Louis (Palissade).- In Saint-Pierre (Basse-Terre - Ligne Paradis), ongoing investigations suggest the virus has become established. An expansion and intensification of viral circulation are possible as long as weather conditions remain favorable for mosquito vectors.
