  • Significant increase in chikungunya cases in week 07-2026, with 74 cases recorded, representing more than 40% of all cases reported since the beginning of the year (175 cases). Transition to phase 2B of the ORSEC arbovirus response plan in week 07, corresponding to the pre-epidemic phase

Bronchiolitis

  • The bronchiolitis epidemic continues at a high intensity level throughout the country

Smallpox B (Mpox)

  • Ten confirmed cases of Mpox have been reported in Mayotte since the beginning of 2026, including 7 locally acquired cases and 3 cases imported from Madagascar. No new cases of Mpox in S08.
