Mpox (Smallpox B)

  • 3 new confirmed cases of Mpox in S06, bringing the total to 6 cases since S02-2026 (including 2 imported cases and 4 locally acquired cases). Although no community spread has been documented at this stage, the risk of such a development remains high for the coming weeks

Acute respiratory infections

  • Influenza: End of the influenza epidemic for the 2025–2026 season

  • Bronchiolitis: Bronchiolitis has been in an epidemic phase since Week 03, with high circulation of RSV in the region and an increase compared to the previous week (Week 04)

  • SARS-CoV-2: SARS-CoV-2 positivity rate on the rise

Mosquito-borne diseases

  • Chikungunya: Since the end of 2025, a resurgence in chikungunya circulation has been observed in the region, with 15 new cases in Week 05, calling for heightened vigilance

  • Malaria: A gradual decrease in the number of cases has been observed since week S04-2026
