COVID-19

• Since week 42, a resurgence of COVID-19 viral circulation at a moderate level has been observed. Since the implementation of néo-sidep and changes in testing activity, we are seeing a significant increase in the positivity rate (PR) for the first time. The PT for COVID-19 rose from 9% to 22% between Week 43 and Week 45. This increase affects all age groups and primarily people over 65 years of age.

• Regarding emergency department visits, 14 visits were recorded in Week 45 compared to 5 in Week 44. This represents a weekly visit rate not seen since early July 2023.
