The regional incidence rate, at 141 per 100,000 inhabitants, shows a significant increase (+31%). It remains above the alert threshold of 50 per 100,000 inhabitants for both departments. The testing rate is rising slightly (4,838 per 100,000 inhabitants, or
+8%). The positivity rate is rising (3.0% vs. 2.5% in Week 7).

In Southern Corsica, the total number of active cases across all departments has doubled, with three people hospitalized in intensive care or continuous care units. In Northern Corsica, a stabilization in the total number of active cases across all departments, along with a stabilization in intensive care or continuous care units, is observed.
