Flu
Epidemic period: Week 13 of the epidemic—peak reached in Week 14.
Emergency departments - Emergency department activity related to flu-like symptoms is decreasing.
SOS Médecins - The proportion of consultations for a diagnosis of influenza-like illness is decreasing.
Sentinelles Network - The incidence rate for influenza-like illness reported by the Sentinelles network in week 15, not yet consolidated, is 247 per 100,000 inhabitants (95% CI [111; 383]), down from previous levels.
Virological Surveillance - Since the start of surveillance, the Rénal network has isolated 3,079 type A viruses and 1 type B virus. Physicians in the Sentinelles network have isolated 65 type A influenza viruses (data not available for the week analyzed).
Severe influenza cases: 24 cases admitted to intensive care were reported by the intensive care sentinel network.
Acute gastroenteritis
Emergency departments: the proportion of visits for gastroenteritis is declining.
SOS Médecins: The proportion of consultations for a diagnosis of gastroenteritis is decreasing.
Sentinel Network: The incidence rate for acute diarrhea reported by the Sentinel Network in week 15, not yet consolidated, is 76 per 100,000 inhabitants (95% CI [0; 152]).
