Extreme heat, heat wave

  • No heat wave warranting a heat wave alert is expected in the coming days.

Monkeypox

  • As of September 6, 242 confirmed cases among residents of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region have been reported.

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

  • Two episodes of local transmission of dengue have been identified:

    • 6 cases reported in the town of Fayence (Var);

    • 9 cases in the municipality of Saint-Jeannet (Alpes-Maritimes).

  • These two outbreaks are not linked (the circulating dengue serotypes are different).
