7th week of the epidemic.
The epidemic peak has passed in S50, at a lower level than the previous season (and the two previous seasons in emergency departments). Decrease in activity in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins. However, the proportion of hospitalizations following a visit to the emergency department is on the rise.
Influenza and influenza-like illnesses
4th week of the epidemic in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
Activity is rising sharply in hospital emergency departments and at SOS Médecins. The proportion of hospitalizations following a visit to the emergency department is also on the rise.
COVID-19
Low activity, with an upward trend in hospital emergency departments over the past 3 weeks and a downward trend at SOS Médecins.
The level of SARS-CoV-2 circulation in wastewater continues to rise.
Acute respiratory infections (severe cases admitted to intensive care)
Since week 40, 35 severe cases of influenza, 12 of COVID-19, and 7 severe cases of RSV infection have been reported by intensive care units participating in surveillance, as well as 34 severe cases of bronchiolitis by the pediatric and neonatal intensive care network.
