Oscour® Network Emergency Department Visit Indicators:

• For adults of all ages, the monthly number of emergency department visits in February 2022 was slightly higher than in 2021 but lower than the average for the years 2018 to 2020. However, in February 2022, the share of monthly activity was slightly higher than in previous years. The monthly number of visits and the share of monthly activity were generally lower in 2021 compared to the average for the years 2018 to 2020.

• For children of all ages combined, the monthly number of emergency department visits in February 2022 was higher than in 2021 and higher than the average for the years 2018 to 2020. However, the share of activity was lower than in previous years. The monthly number of visits was generally higher in 2021 compared to the average for the years 2018 to 2020, and the monthly share of activity was also higher.

• Among those aged 11 and older, the monthly number of emergency department visits in February 2022 was higher than in 2021 and higher than the average for the years 2018 to 2020. However, in February 2022, the share of monthly activity was lower than in February 2021 but slightly higher than the average for the years 2018 to 2020. The monthly number of emergency room visits was generally higher throughout 2021 compared to the average for the years 2018 to 2020.
