  • Nationally, the number of deaths from all causes reported by INSEE has begun to decline, but remains elevated in S03 and S04-2025, primarily among those aged 65–84 and those aged 85 and older.

  • At the regional level, the number of deaths is stabilizing or beginning to decline in most regions in S03. It remains elevated in 10 metropolitan regions in S03-2025 and 8 regions in S04.

  • The number of electronically certified deaths in S05 remains stable compared to the previous week across all age groups.
