  • Nationally and across all regions, based on INSEE data, the number of deaths across all age groups remains within the usual range of fluctuation in week 21 (to be confirmed upon data consolidation, given the extended reporting delay due to the long Pentecost weekend).

  • Among people aged 65–84, with the consolidation of data, excess deaths continue to be observed through week 20.

  • The number of electronically certified deaths increased by 6.7% in week 22, primarily among people over 65.
