Key Points

  • Most mental health indicators remained within their usual range of fluctuation.

  • Among children, admissions for suicidal behavior and ideation, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders remained at low levels, as is typical during the summer months. Admissions for suicidal behavior remained at a level consistently higher than in previous years only among 11- to 14-year-olds. In contrast, admissions for suicidal ideation remained at higher levels among both children and adults, with a slight upward trend observed since June among those aged 25 and older.

  • Among adults aged 18–24, acts related to anxiety were at the upper end of the range observed in previous years.
