Key Points

  • In emergency departments: In connection with the start of the school year, visits for suicidal acts, suicidal ideation, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders were on the rise among children aged 11–17 and remained at high levels, close to those observed in 2021. Among those aged 18–64, visits for suicidal thoughts remained at a higher level than in 2021.

  • In the SOS Médecins network: there was a slight increase in cases of anxiety across all age groups (up to age 65) and cases of depression among those aged 25 and older at levels comparable to those of previous years.
