Key Points

  • In Week 13 (March 27–April 2, 2023), emergency department visits and hospitalizations following such visits remained stable across all age groups.

  • Most respiratory indicators were stable or declining, with the exception of asthma among 2- to 14-year-olds and 15- to 74-year-olds (up 14%, or 206 visits, and up 33%, or 355 visits, respectively).

  • Among children, there was also an increase in visits for conjunctivitis (+10%, or +68 visits, still at levels higher than in previous years) and for digestive disorders (+9%, or +157 visits).
