  • Emergency room visits and hospitalizations are on the rise among children under 15 for the third consecutive week.

  • Emergency room visits for bronchiolitis among children under two years of age continue to rise sharply. The epidemic is ongoing in the Île-de-France and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regions and is beginning in the Brittany, Normandy, Hauts-de-France, Grand Est, and Centre regions. The other regions (except Corsica) are in the pre-epidemic phase.

  • The main increases involve ENT and respiratory infections in children, at levels comparable to previous years.
