Summary
Emergency room visits and hospitalizations are on the rise among children under 15 for the third consecutive week.
Emergency room visits for bronchiolitis among children under two years of age continue to rise sharply. The epidemic is ongoing in the Île-de-France and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regions and is beginning in the Brittany, Normandy, Hauts-de-France, Grand Est, and Centre regions. The other regions (except Corsica) are in the pre-epidemic phase.
The main increases involve ENT and respiratory infections in children, at levels comparable to previous years.
