Key Points
In Week 29 (July 17–23, 2023), activity at SOS Médecins clinics declined among children and adults aged 75 and older and remained stable among adults aged 15–74.
Among adults, with low to moderate patient numbers, there was an increase in procedures:
among those aged 15–74, related to digestive conditions (digestive disorders +8%, or +83 cases; gastroenteritis +7%, or +150 cases) and for suspected COVID-19 infection (+19%, or +92 cases);
among those aged 75 and older, for conjunctivitis (+27%, or +7 cases, up for the third consecutive week) and for dehydration (+18%, or +11 cases).
Regarding mental health indicators, there was an increase in cases of anxiety among those aged 15–44 (+15%, or +100 cases) as well as for depressive episodes among those aged 15–64 (+15%, or +30 cases).
