Summary

In Week 24 (June 8–14, 2020), total activity at SOS Médecins clinics decreased by 13% (or 6,892 fewer visits) across all age groups.

Over the past week, medical procedures for suspected COVID-19 decreased by 30% across all age groups compared to the previous week (1,015 procedures vs. 1,454 procedures in Week 23). Their share of total activity declined slightly to 2.2% (vs. 2.83% in Week 23). By region, Île-de-France (17%), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (12%), Grand-Est (11%), and PACA (10%) recorded the highest number of procedures for suspected COVID-19. Since the start of surveillance, 57,115 procedures for suspected COVID-19 have been performed.

Among other conditions, a decline is observed in nearly all morbidity indicators, with the exception of procedures for gastrointestinal conditions, which have seen a slight increase among children (+9%, or +30 procedures), and for acute gastroenteritis among those aged 15–44 (+8%, or +89 procedures).
