Overview
In Week 18 (April 27–May 3, 2026), the final week of school vacation for Zone C, activity at emergency departments and SOS Médecins clinics increased among children aged 2–14 and remained stable in other age groups.
Among both children and adults, visits for digestive disorders (vomiting, gastroenteritis, abdominal pain) as well as for allergies and insect bites were on the rise in both networks
Among children, there was an increase in visits for trauma in both networks and for upper respiratory tract conditions at SOS Médecins.
Nationally, the number of deaths from all causes remained stable across all age groups in week 17.
