The Ban on Tobacco Advertising and Promotion: Toward a More Effective Legal Response.

As part of the Cancer Plan, the National League Against Cancer (LNCC) and the National Committee Against Smoking (CNCT) joined forces in 2003 to analyze the extent and variety of violations and circumventions of the ban on tobacco advertising and promotion established by the Evin Law. The results of this analysis led to the report “Tobacco Advertising and Promotion: Toward an Improved Legal Response to the Scale of the Phenomenon.” Its main findings and recommendations are presented here.
