Tobacco in Europe: Health warnings put to the test.

This article presents the main findings of a qualitative survey conducted among 48 French smokers on the impact of health warnings on cigarette packs. The objective was to assess the impact of the warnings required by the Evin Law, the impact of the new warnings recommended by the European Union, and the effect of visual health warnings such as those used in Canada.
