Rollerblading and wearing a helmet

The rise in rollerblading, particularly in urban areas, and the concomitant increase in the risk of accidents, necessitate a better understanding of this activity and its participants. The purpose of this article is to establish the sociodemographic profile of rollerbladers and to determine whether they wear helmets. Furthermore, these data will enable the implementation of more targeted health promotion initiatives for accident prevention, particularly within the framework of national public health programs on the prevention of everyday accidents carried out by the CFES, the CNAMTS, and their partners.
