In France, the estimated number of new cases of penile cancer in 2018 was 449. Key points: 5-year age-standardized net survival of 68% for cases diagnosed between 2010 and 2015; 5-year net survival decreases with age at diagnosis, from 79% at age 50 to 60% at age 80; High excess mortality during the 3 years following diagnosis, especially among older men; At 5 years, low excess mortality regardless of age at diagnosis.
