  • Mainland France:

    • A trend toward stabilization in the incidence rate and new hospitalizations in certain areas

    • Effective reproduction number (R) <1 but rising for the third consecutive week, reflecting increased viral circulation

  • Overseas territories:

    • French Guiana: incidence rate decreasing but still high, with continued heavy pressure on hospitals

    • Martinique: incidence and hospitalization rates remain high

  • CoviPrev Survey (September 28–October 5, 2021):

    • Stabilization in the consistent adoption of preventive measures compared to the previous wave (August 31–September 7)

    • The proportion of respondents stating they do not intend to get vaccinated remains stable at 13%
