How is compliance with vaccination and preventive measures against COVID-19 changing? Results from Wave 26 of the CoviPrev survey

Key findings on French people’s preventive behaviors during Wave 26 (July 15–21, 2021) and a comparison with the June 2021 wave

  • 84% (+7%) of respondents support COVID-19 vaccination: they have either already received at least one dose of the vaccine or intend to do so soon.

  • 73% (+10%) of parents of children aged 12 to 18 support their vaccination against COVID-19.

  • 68% (-2%) of respondents say they always wear a mask in public.

  • 63% (-2%) of respondents say they greet others without shaking hands and avoid hugging.

  • 60% (-1%) of respondents say they wash their hands regularly.

  • 32% (-4%) of respondents avoid gatherings and in-person meetings with loved ones.
