Circular No. 98/771 of the Directorate General for Health (DGS) dated December 31, 1998, regarding the implementation of best practices for the maintenance of water systems in healthcare facilities and measures to prevent Legionella-related risks in high-risk systems and in buildings open to the public

This circular provides guidance on the implementation of recommendations regarding risk management related to Legionella proliferation in water distribution networks and water treatment systems. It encourages the creation of inventories of at-risk facilities and the dissemination of maintenance guidelines for these facilities. (R.A.)
