This increase affected the entire population and, more specifically, people aged 75 and older.
• An increase in the number of medical interventions carried out by SOS Médecins for heat-related conditions was also observed during the heatwave.
• Mortality data for all causes certified electronically show an increase in the number of deaths beginning on June 24, 2026, primarily among people aged 65 and older, particularly in healthcare facilities, but also at home and in nursing homes.
