Chikungunya, Dengue, and Zika
- Since May 1, 2026, 92 imported cases of dengue, 19 imported cases of chikungunya, and 1
imported case of Zika have been identified and investigated in Île-de-France (compared to 162 imported cases of dengue and 164 imported cases of chikungunya during the same period in 2025). - In the Île-de-France region, the first instance of local transmission of chikungunya in
2026 was identified in Nogent-sur-Marne in Val-de-Marne (94).
West Nile Virus Infections
- As of August 31, 206, 9 locally acquired human cases of West Nile virus (WNV) infection were
identified in Île-de-France.
