Key points

Martinique

  • COVID-19: Low levels of city and hospital indicators.

  • Influenza: ongoing epidemic; decline in community and hospital indicators (emergency department visits and hospitalizations); decrease in positivity rate; influenza A predominant. Since the start of the epidemic (week 2024–51), 9 severe cases hospitalized in intensive care have been reported (data currently being consolidated).

  • Bronchiolitis: all indicators stable; only 1 positive sample in week 2025-08.

Guadeloupe

  • COVID-19: Slight increase in emergency room visits with no positive test results in hospital laboratories.

  • Influenza: ongoing epidemic; community and hospital indicators again stable and high; positivity rate decreasing; influenza A predominant. Since the start of enhanced influenza surveillance (week 2024-40), 17 severe cases hospitalized in intensive care have been reported (data currently being consolidated).

  • Bronchiolitis: decrease in outpatient visits; hospital indicators stable; no positive test results in week 2025-08.

Saint Martin

  • COVID-19: no outpatient visits or hospital admissions.

  • Influenza: ongoing epidemic; increase in hospital indicators.

  • Bronchiolitis: low indicator levels; slight increase in outpatient visits; one emergency room visit.

Saint Barthélemy

  • COVID-19: no outpatient visits or hospital admissions.

  • Flu: ongoing epidemic; decrease in outpatient visits, stabilization of emergency room visits with no hospitalizations.

  • Bronchiolitis: no outpatient visits or hospital admissions.
