Epidemiological Situation of Dengue Fever in Guadeloupe. Update as of March 15, 2013.
Situation Analysis
The current epidemiological situation is characterized by a higher level of viral circulation over the past 10 weeks compared to the previous 10 weeks, and the continued occurrence of isolated dengue outbreaks with no epidemiological link. The DENV-1, DENV-2, and DENV-4 serotypes have been co-circulating since the beginning of 2013, but DENV-1 remains predominant. This situation continues to correspond to Phase 2, Level 1 of the Dengue Alert System: Phase of isolated outbreaks.
