COVID-19

  • In Week 47, SARS-CoV-2 transmission continues to rise in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. While the number of SOS Médecins calls is stabilizing, the number of emergency room visits continues to increase. The number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is also rising, as is the number of COVID-19 cases in long-term care facilities.

Bronchiolitis

  • 7th epidemic week

  • The epidemic trend for bronchiolitis is very high and rising in Week 47. The level of epidemiological indicators for bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age is exceptionally high, exceeding that of all seasonal epidemics since 2010 in the region.

  • Transition to pre-epidemic phase

  • During week 47, in hospital settings, according to data from the Oscour® network, emergency department visits across all age groups in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes for a diagnosis of influenza or influenza-like illness are on the rise
