Key Points

COVID-19

  • In Week 05, SARS-CoV-2 circulation continues to decline in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and has reached a low level. The impact on hospitals and long-term care facilities continues to decrease.

Bronchiolitis

  • End of the epidemic.

  • Emergency room visits for bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age decreased in Week 5 in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The proportion of hospital activity related to bronchiolitis fell sharply compared to the previous week.

  • Procedures for the diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age have stabilized at 15 procedures in Week 5, representing 3.2% of the overall activity of SOS Médecins associations in this age group (vs. 3.4% in Week 4).

Influenza

  • 10th epidemic week.

  • Oscour® Network: Emergency room visits for all ages in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes for diagnosis of influenza/influenza-like illness have risen sharply.

  • SOS Médecins: the number of cases increased in S05, with 1,237 cases of influenza/influenza-like illness recorded (vs. 979 cases in S04), representing 14.8% of total activity (vs. 11.8% in S04).

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Moderate activity.
