COVID-19

  • In Week 27, the rise in SARS-CoV-2 infection rates (+17%) in the region has slowed. This marks the sixth consecutive week of increase, with the incidence rate standing at 1,161 per 100,000 inhabitants in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

  • With 928 new hospitalizations, including 85 in critical care, the impact of COVID-19 on hospitals is also increasing, with a slight rise in hospital deaths. In Week 26, episodes and cases in long-term care facilities are on the rise

Monkeypox

  • As of July 12 at 5:00 p.m., 93 confirmed cases had been reported in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, including 69 cases (74%) in the Rhône department, exclusively among men.

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

  • 7 cases of dengue and 1 case of chikungunya as of July 13, 2022.
