Health Monitoring in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region. Update as of November 17, 2022.

Key Points

COVID-19

  • In Week 45, after several weeks of decline, SARS-CoV-2 transmission appears to be stabilizing in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Hospital indicators (new hospitalizations and the number of people hospitalized for COVID-19), emergency room visits, and reports to ESMS are decreasing. SOS Médecins calls are increasing this week.

Bronchiolitis

  • 5th epidemic week

  • Oscour® network: emergency department visits for bronchiolitis are declining, but this decline is correlated with the total number of visits, leaving the proportion of hospital activity for bronchiolitis constant. Hospitalizations for a diagnosis of bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes are down in week 45 compared to previous weeks, with the hospitalization rate remaining unchanged.

  • The regional epidemic trend for bronchiolitis is high and is declining slightly in week 45 in the region.

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

  • Number of imported dengue cases: 31 cases as of 11/16/22

  • Number of imported chikungunya cases: 2 cases as of 11/16/22
