Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

  • Surveillance for cases of chikungunya, dengue, and Zika began on May 1: 24 imported cases of dengue and 1 case of chikungunya were identified in the region.

COVID-19

  • In week 30 (July 24–30, 2023), fifty emergency room visits and 54 SOS Médecins calls for all ages due to suspected COVID-19 were reported in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. As shown by the levels of indicators for outpatient and emergency care utilization, SARS-CoV-2 circulation remains at a very low level in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

  • Against the backdrop of a favorable trend in the epidemic and due to legislative changes, epidemiological surveillance of COVID-19 is evolving and becoming simpler.
