Bronchiolitis

  • 4th week of the epidemic

  • Bronchiolitis-related activity appears to be emerging from its upward phase, as in previous years: the number of emergency department visits for bronchiolitis (lower than in the two previous winters) is identical to the previous week at 13.5% in Week 51 (vs. 13.4% in Week 50). Activity remains above 5% for SOS Médecins (7.8% vs. 5.3% in W1).

Flu

  • 3rd epidemic week

  • Activity is on the rise, with a sharp increase: 2.6% of flu cases among emergency room visits (vs. 1.3% in Week 1); 20.6% among SOS Médecins calls (vs. 12.1% in Week 1); 332 cases per 100,000 inhabitants according to the Sentinelles network in week 51 (vs. 135 in week 1).

Clusters of acute respiratory infections

  • Since September 30, 2024, 114 clusters of acute respiratory infections (ARI) have been reported. The number of new clusters has been low since week 42 (mid-October; Figure 7A), lower than that recorded during the same period last year.

COVID-19

  • Low activity.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Low to moderate activity.
