Key Points
Continued increase in vaccination uptake among infants subject to the expanded vaccination requirement:
92.3% received a first dose of the meningococcal C vaccine (+4 percentage points compared to 2019)
93.7% received the booster dose of the meningococcal C vaccine (+3.4 percentage points compared to 2018)
Stabilization of the increase in valences where coverage was already high:
93.2% received a third dose of the hexavalent vaccine (+1.9 percentage points compared to 2018)
93.8% received a third dose of the pneumococcal vaccine (+1.6 percentage points compared to 2018)
94.3% received a first dose of the MMR vaccine (+1.1 percentage points compared to 2018)
Increase in vaccination coverage among children born before the law took effect:
+6.4 percentage points for the first dose of the HPV vaccine among 15-year-old girls born in 2006 (57.7%) compared to those born in 2005 (51.2%)
Increase in catch-up vaccination coverage against meningococcal C across all age groups
Lower vaccination coverage and slower increases in coverage among children in Morbihan
Increase in influenza vaccination coverage compared to the 2019–2020 season:
+6.1 percentage points among people aged 65 and older
No decrease in vaccination coverage at the regional level during the 2020-2021 period covering the COVID-19 pandemic
