Key Points

COVID-19

  • SOS Médecins (Figure 1): In Week 29, indicators of healthcare utilization for suspected COVID-19 were on the rise for SOS Médecins, with an activity rate of 1.9%, representing 24 cases (0.6% in Week 28, representing 8 cases).

  • Oscour® (Figure 2): In week 29, indicators of healthcare utilization for suspected COVID-19 remained stable for hospital emergency departments, with an activity rate of 0.1%, representing 13 visits (0.1% in week 28, 16 visits).

Gastroenteritis and Acute Diarrhea

  • SOS Médecins: Low activity level

  • Oscour®: Moderate activity level

Chickenpox

  • SOS Médecins (Figure 8): In Week 29, there was a decrease in the number of SOS Médecins consultations for chickenpox, with 15 visits, representing 1.2% of SOS Médecins activity (22 visits, or 1.8%, in Week 28).

  • Oscour® (Figure 9): In week 29, there was a decrease in the number of emergency room visits for chickenpox, with 31 visits representing 0.3% of activity (45 visits, or 0.4%, in week 28). One case was hospitalized.

Allergies

  • SOS Médecins: The number of medical procedures for allergies (n = 22) was down compared to week 28 (n = 30) and accounted for 1.7% of medical procedures (2.4% in week 28).

  • Oscour®: The number of emergency room visits for allergies (n = 131) was down compared to week 28 (n = 194) and accounted for 1.1% of visits. The hospitalization rate was 12.2%.

Asthma (ages 2–14)

  • SOS Médecins: The number of medical procedures for asthma among 2- to 14-year-olds (n = 1) was down compared to week 28 (n = 6) and accounted for 0.4% of medical procedures in this age group.

  • Oscour®: The number of emergency room visits for asthma among 2- to 14-year-olds (n = 22) was down compared to week 28 (n = 44) and accounted for 1.2% of visits in this age group.

Heat-related conditions

  • SOS Médecins: The number of SOS Médecins procedures for heat-related diagnoses (n = 5) was down compared to week 28 (n = 9) and accounted for 0.4% of SOS Médecins procedures.

  • Oscour®: The number of emergency room visits for heat-related diagnoses (n = 36) was down compared to week 28 (n = 45) and accounted for 0.3% of visits.
