In Week 38, the increase in SARS-CoV-2 circulation continued across the entire region, albeit at a more moderate pace.

  • Incidence rates (IR) are rising in all age groups except among those under 15, where they were slightly declining. IR are rising in all departments.

  • The BA.5 sublineage has been stable and dominant since week S24.

  • Increase in the number of cases in acute care and the number of deaths.

Gastroenteritis

  • Activity was down at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments.

Asthma

  • Ages 2–14: activity down at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments

Monkeypox

  • As of September 27, 2022, at 12:00 PM, 40 confirmed cases had been reported in the Centre-Val de Loire region.

Heat wave, extreme heat

  • Activity is low and stable at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency rooms.
