Key Highlights

  • Nationally, the Unified Influenza Network has recorded a significant increase in consultations for flu-like symptoms, causing the epidemic threshold to be exceeded in week 05.

  • In the Alsace region, influenza-related activity remains low for both of the region’s SOS Médecins associations as well as for the Unified Influenza Network.

  • Nationally and regionally, the influenza A virus remains dominant.

  • Although of lower intensity, the bronchiolitis epidemic remains active at the national and regional levels.

  • According to data from the HUS laboratory, RSV continues to be frequently identified in respiratory specimens.

  • Gastroenteritis activity remains steady in Alsace.
