Key Findings
An increase in asthma diagnoses has been observed in both hospital and pre-hospital settings over the past two weeks. This increase primarily affects the 2- to 14-year-old age group.
During the spring and summer of 2013, the number of allergies diagnosed by the SOS Médecins association in Meurthe-et-Moselle peaked in late April (week 17) and early June (week 23). Regarding emergency departments in Lorraine, the number of allergy diagnoses has exceeded 100 since early June, with a peak of 150 weekly diagnoses in week 26.
