• Departmental incidence rates: decrease in incidence rates across all departments in the region. All departments have fallen below the threshold of 400 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

• In the Grand Est region, the screening rate is 37%, and 99% of screened tests correspond to a suspected

• Omicron variant (for tests where the mutation is sought and interpretable). In week 32 of 2022, 88% of screened samples carried a mutation consistent with the new Omicron sublineages, including BA.2.12.1, BA.4, and BA.5 (stable compared to week 31 of 2022).

Monkeypox

• As of August 16, 2022, 70 cases had been reported in the Grand-Est region.
